Wow! This book was amazing! Haven did an amazing job with her debut novel. The way she wrote the love between these two characters and added in the mystery plot, made the story even more enjoyable. With every page, I wanted more and more. I cant wait for Deacon's story!

While I don’t want to be mean, this book is in desperate need of a revamp. I don’t have a favorite for point of view a story is told in so long as it stays in the same POV. This one bounces back and forth between 1st present tense to 3rd past tense to 1st past tense and back again throughout the whole thing. While you can tell in italics when it’s a memory, the actual dialogue is hard because it bounces so much for both characters. I wasn’t fond of the timeline drops at the beginning of some chapters. I don’t need to know the next chapter is the next day. Written properly I should have been able to tell from the dialogue, which I wasn’t so I suppose I should be grateful? All in all the only reason I continued to the end is because the suspense had me wondering. I wasn’t left shocked though. I won’t be reading this author again and I won’t recommend this book unless you’d like a story told by a twelve-year-old with no knowledge of character depth. Did I mention PLUS is overused? Sometimes every other paragraph started with that word. A thesaurus might come in handy...
I so very much enjoyed this debut story from Haven Rose! I had the pleasure of reading it early on and I am so excited for her and this journey. It was sweet, sexy and the drama came from a plot that didn't revolve around any other women/men.

<b>HERO~</b> Ryan was so sweet. He came across to me as the boy next door. He was a police officer, loved his parents and was a good friend. He fell for Ruby instantly and didnt hesitate to go for her.

<b>HEROINE~</b> Ruby was the perfect match for Ryan. She was sweet, loving and was a rock for her father when her mother died. I loved that she didn't play games by pushing Ryan away when she knew she wanted him. She leaned on him and trusted him when her life was threatened.

<b>SEXUAL HISTORY~</b> both virgins

<b>OM/OW DRAMA ~</b> Zero

<b>STEAM</b> Definite balance of steam and story

<b>VIOLENCE</b> nothing of a sexual nature

<b>SECONDARY CHARACTERS</B> Great secondary character and I can't wait to read Deacon's story

<b>SAFETY</b> 100% safe

<b>ENDING~ </b> Good review that is 1 year out. I know for sure we get more in Deacon's story and can't wait!
I really liked the characters, the story line dragged a bit, but all in all a pretty good debut for this author.
This was a great book, with all the hate going on in the world, I needing this story of love and family.
Wow! That was terrific! Wonderful! Great! Swoon worthy is how I'd describe Ryan. He's the perfect mix of dominant alpha & just a really great guy. Ruby is strong yet sweet, fierce & determined. I loved how the drama was not between the characters in love but a situation that they tackled together. One click this book, you will not regret it. 😀💖

Grave Secrets is by far one of the best books I have read all year. Ryan and Ruby were an amazing couple and had great chemistry. The side characters were perfect. I am so excited for Decons story to come out!!! I would totally recommend this book for anyone who love romance with a little mystery and suspense.
This was a good read. Just very long. It seemed longer to me. Still a good read. Loved that they were each others one and only. No drama in the relationship. Little talk of rape with side characters.
